The busiest weekend of the year so far and in amongst it all a special one (two) of “Did I Mention The Free Wine?” Felix Dennis poetry reading featuring special guests Escala. We made one or two changes to the set for such an impressive venue and it all went according to plan and the show went off without a hitch. A good job too, the whole event (both days) were being filmed by Endemol for a special programme to be aired in the early part of next year (2012) on Sky Arts 1. A crazy, hard but rewarding weekend to start our December 2011 run of events.

A recently received thank you and testimonial:

Class Act, is exactly what it says on the tin!! What an appropriate name for this company. We held an Oscars Themed Evening at Pinewood Studios and Class Act provided the whole production for the event. They totally transformed the historic building into a magical Hollywood production, complete with our own personalized Hollywood Walk of Fame! From the first step off the coach, all of our guests were mesmerized and wowed by the transformation from the entrance, through the walkways and to the Ballroom. No stone was left unturned and the attention to detail in this production was flawless. It made you feel that you were actually at an Oscars Event in Hollywood. Mick recommended, booked and project managed all of our entertainment for the evening. This included Captain Jack Sparrow, Captain Barbosa and the pirates and also the Hollywood Paparazzi, simplifying the process and having one point of contact. The set building and design was truly stunning! Class Act were able to transform dark corners, hide imperfections and mask areas that we didn’t want to be on view, thus generating the whole illusion. From Class Act’s amazing chequer dance floor that looked like it was part of the existing building to soft lighting, props and table centerpieces…. the teams eye for detail and artistic imagination is astounding! If you want a company that can think outside of the box, has an Aladdin’s cave of props and can build fabulous bespoke pieces to suit your requirements, plus project manage the entire production… we recommend Class Act wholeheartedly.
