Bands and Artists

Band: The Good Old Boys

The coming together of five great musicians on one stage cannot fail to excite, and excitement, after all, is what rock music is all about.

The Good Old Boys were originally formed as a vehicle to play live rock music whenever the members were free from touring with their own bands.

Such Bands as: Deep Purple, Jo-Jo-Gunn, The Monks, The Strawbs, Rick Wakeman, Hudson Ford, Johnny Kidd and The Pirates & B.B. King.

The astounding response they received has led them to become a successful band in their own right.  An evening with The Good Old Boys Boys is an exhilarating experience and one not to be missed.

Blues and Rock ‘N’ Roll at it’s best!

Band: Earl Gray

A high energy band full of virtuoso musicians and great entertainers. Playing a huge selection of great covers from the 60s to the 90s.

Earl Gray BandEarl Gray; Vocals and guitar was recently all over your television screens as “The Face of BBC Music Live”.  He  does a pretty mean Liam Gallagher look alike.  He is also a composite serious actor and accomplished songwriter. Clive Poole; Virtuoso lead guitarist, and second vocals. Frankly probably one of the most exciting guitarists any human being will ever see live! Think of May and Hendrix and add some and you’re getting the picture. Trevor Burn; Electric Bass guitar and vocals; toured the world with Alvin Stardust, this man knows how to lay it down steady and funk it up good Phil Vickers; Drums and Percussion.  A thinking man’s drummer that can cut the mustard right across the styles.  The engine-house of the band. Phil makes sure everybody remembers what they came for!

Band: Old Country Union

An acoustic four-piece, whose mission is to cover great songs drawn from all eras of rock history, with the occasional self-penned number thrown in when they think no one’s looking!

Old Country UnionOld Country Union are an acoustic four-piece from the South Bucks delta. Their story began when four musicians happened to meet at an acoustic open-mic night at a local pub. In fact, in many ways it was a kind of reunion, as Frank and Simon had played together many years before in the acoustic Beatles tribute, Bigger than Jesus. With Frank’s old school friend Geof on guitar and vocals and the multi-instrumental Richie on drums (at least most of the time) a band was accidentally formed. Their mission: to cover great songs drawn from all eras of rock history, with the occasional self-penned number thrown in when they think no one’s looking. The boys haven’t forgotten their roots and still host regular acoustic “open-mic” nights; where everyone’s invited to get up and have a go.

Frank – Vocals, 6 and 12 string guitars
Geof – Guitar, vocals, bass
Simon – Bass, guitar and vocals
Richie – Drums, vocals, harmonica, guitar, trumpet
